• Hi all,

I have recently been working on getting a site up and running for the research lab I work in. We originally starting building the site on a random URL we had with hosting at Bluehost. We now have a new domain and new hosting with LiquidWeb. I have already updated the domain and hosting so I think I’m good there. However, another person in the lab who was trying to help went into our WordPress account before I did any of other updates and changed the site URL in general settings to our new URL. However, when I try to log into WordPress using our new domain, it doesn’t work, I can’t get the log in screen. Nor does it work when I use the old one so I have no idea how to get into our account now.

I don’t know what I am supposed to do next to fix this issue. The new host and domain does not yet contain any files. My plan was to go in and backup the site and transfer files to our new host, but I can’t log into WordPress at all. I tried researching this issue and can’t figure out what to do. I tried changing the site URL in the wp-config file to the old domain (which still should work), but it does nothing.
