• Is it possible to override Yoasts Canonical tag on particular posts? There are instances where some syndicated content on our site should point to the original source (another site in our network) instead we get double / conflicting canonical tags (with the Yoast ones wrongly identifying this particular blog as the original).

    <strong><link rel="canonical" href="http://abc.com/live-rio-1985/" /></strong>

    <!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast WordPress SEO plugin v1.4.19 - http://yoast.com/wordpress/seo/ -->
    <title>XYZ.COM | LIVE IN RIO FROM 1985</title>
    <meta name="robots" content="noodp,noydir"/>
    <meta name="description" content="XYZ.com Rocks"/>
    <strong><link rel="canonical" href="http://XYZ.com/live-rio-1985/" /></strong>

    Ideally I’d like to override the Yoast canonical tags only on these particular posts.

    Suggestions?
