I ran into problems with a couple of other social linking plugins – mainly load times and randomly not working.

This plugin is much more low key – it has Ajax functionality to hide the links unless someone wants them. It doesn’t make the page jerk around when it finally loads. It doesn’t seem to impact load times.

However, it hasn’t been updated in a year and a half. A couple of the links no longer take the reader to the right place and can’t be used. And there’s a few newer ones that have become very popular like Pintrest that are missing. That looses it a star.

But it had the main ones I wanted, is nicely functional, and solves my immediate problem. Here’s hoping it will be updated.
