how to remove large black area on top and bottom of video

    I am working on a site that features lots of videos. They look good until I view them on an ipad or an iphone. What apears are a large black bars above and below video. At one time I had posted videos from vimeo into a responsive wordpress theme and it scaled perfectly. Did something change? Am I delusional? Help!

    The black on the top and the bottom I believe are added to compensate for a manually entered width or height to keep the video in perspective so I don’t think that has anything to do with WP.

    Setting the width/height to be in perspective with the source video should get rid of the bars that show up.
