    I used another computer to setup this plugin, because I don’t want to clear everything (cache, cookie, etc) on my browser in my laptop. It worked for me.

    Maybe, email verification existed since 0.1.5 to prevent wrong connection to google api
    To pass the email verification edit /wp-content/plugins/yakadanda-google-hangout-events/oauth2callback.php line 34

    from
    $is_calendar_id = in_array($data['calendar_id'], $calendar_ids);

    to
    $is_calendar_id = true;

    Yes that takes away the error but still wont let me use the plugin. I definitely did something wrong. Hopefully I can try it in a clean browser in a few days.
    Thanks for the tip 🙂

    I finally figured it out.. In step 6 (last step) of Yakadanda’s tutorial in the image it shows “Referers – Any referer allowed”.

    This doesn’t normally show up this way when i finish creating an API. So every time I retried it, I typed in a couple of URL’s that i wanted to give access. However if you click “Edit allowed referers” and leave it blank it will give you “Any referer allowed” (as shown in the image of the tutorial) and after that, I was finally able to connect.

    Thanks Teguh for trying to help out.
    If you didn’t, I probably would have given up haha
