I downloaded the monotone theme here: http://svn.automattic.com/wpcom-themes/monotone/
and uploaded it to my self-hosted site.
Everything appears to be working fine, apart from the "archives" and "about" links which come up as an error, as it would for any internet page that is down/doesn't work/doesn't exist.
My site is www.thereisanotherworld.org
Any help?
the archives link and the abut link are going to pages that are using pretty permalinks.
You are not presently using pretty permalinks; Look at where the permalink to your first post goes.
You need to enable pretty permalinks for those 2 links to work, or you can edit the theme file and remove those 2 links.

beginners question, but how do I enable permalinks?
