Setting Home Page

Using Theme Twenty Twelve – I have tried to hide the Home page from view by developing a custom menu which doesn’t include it. However, when I click on the Logo I have in place of the header I am navigated to the Home page as opposed to the About Us page. Is there any way of removing the home page completely or hiding it and redirecting people to my About Us page. Thanks
