Already Installed WordPress Error

    I have been working at this for over 8 hours and I still havent been able to figure it out. Using a Wamp Sever I have been trying to install wordpress on my computer – however every time I get to the end of the instalation I get a message that says

    Already Installed

    You appear to have already installed WordPress. To reinstall please clear your old database tables first.

    However I had never installed it before today and between each time I tried it I removed the wordpress completely from my computer. I even tried uninstalling my sever….

    any help?

    I need it for a project so sooner I get this fixed the better

    You delete just files of the wordpress, but your database is still the same, old the first one. So you need to go to phpmyadmin and remove it completely, or in wp-config.php point to a new database and then make brand new instalation.

    Try using a different database name during setup.
