[Plugin: intouch] I get a “\n” after every line on my custom messages

At first it worked alright, but after I changed one variable directly in the “intouch.php” file (because my site is in Portuguese and there wasn’t an option to change the text for “required” in admin), I’m getting a line break “\n” after every line in my custom messages, both the success and failure. It causes the contact page to stop loading and showing an empty success message. Firebug also shows that the error is caused by a “\n” and therefore the javascript can’t be completed.
