[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Clash with flash

    Hi there, big fan of nextgen but hit a problem today. A new site we are developing has got a flash movie in its header and a nextgen gallery in the content. If you click on an images to see it with the lightbox effect, the flash movie in the header is not “greyed out” but overlaps over half of the picture. This is presumably because the cannot distinguish between the flash movie in the header and the javascript generated by the lightbox.

    I would be very grateful for any suggestions, thank you…

    Hi
    I had this problem myself and after a bit of googling found the answer:
    you need to amend (or add) the “wmode” for your flash as follows:
    ‘wmode’ ‘transparent’
    or
    wmode=transparent

    By default I believe that wmode is set by Flash to be ‘window’.
    After doing the alteration above, all should be well.
