• After upgrading to WP version 2.5.1 my menu bar has disappeared. I can not access theme editor; can’t modify plugin settings…nothing. All I can do is write a new post or page, access users and settings.

    Help!

  • Same with me!

    What is wrong with the WordPress developers? They had such a great piece of software, then they go and change it for this piece of crap(v 2.7+) and don’t even bother to answer questions about the bugs.

    I have the same problem. After making a new post, the admin sidebar(appearance, plugins, etc.) disappeared. I have searched all over the forum and no one seems to know what the problem is.

    I too have lost my menu. I can read my opening post and add or read comments on it, but cannot access the dashboard.

    Their excuse for making all of these so called NEW changes was that the layout is faster. Bull, If you are right handed(like me), you have to scroll all the way to the left to use the menu. Before it was conveniently located on the top as a drop-down menu so anyone(regardless of their left/right brain proclivity) could reach the menu easily.

    Now all of these bugs and where are they now??

    had the same problem unfortunately, but had a solution
    first go to the plugins page with this link;

    ……………../wordpress/wp-admin/plugins.php
    (dots where is your domain located of course 🙂

    well, then deactivated some plugins i installed recently and the problem is gone, menu is back again, i think a plugin is cancelling the menu bar.
    happy poems 😉
