Redirect same user roles to different websites

    I’m new with wp – please my apologies in advance for any errors

    1. if possible to redirect same user roles to different websites or.

    2. will it be possible to redirect users author/subscriber/admin- base on groups …

    Let me explain:

    create like groups –– inside each wp/subsite–

    for example if you have WPMU–
    main site or root site name: – rootsite
    subsite 1: rootsite/site-1.com
    subsite 2: rootsite/site-2.com

    all subscribers on rootsite/site-1.com will be on group name user-site-1.com —- redirect to profile page subsite1

    all authors will be on rootsite/site-1.com will be on group name author-site-1.com — redirect to dashboard for subsite1

    for subsite 2

    all subscribers on rootsite/site-2.com will be on group name user-site-2.com —- redirect to profile page subsite2

    all authors will be on rootsite/site-2.com will be on group name author-site-2.com — redirect to dashboard for subsite2

    that way — all group user or authors from different sites will go to designated place, so — when register/login on root site will be redirected to the desire address — in this case will be front end or dashboard for sited: rootsite/site-1.com or rootsite/site-2.com

    my apologies as you can see i’m don’t know much about this..

    i have a wpmu 3.8 — with 3 subsites.

    site- root- main site then subsites
    site-1
    site-2
    site-3

    if a user purchase a course in a sub site — how can i automatically redirect that specific user to the corespondent subsite of the course purchase after he/she has login into the mainsite- root ..

    i have look into the https://premium.wpmudev.org/project/login-redirect/ but seems that it works but only manually -you will have to use users name one by one.

    is there away around this that does not require manual setup for every user

    please help , I m going nuts 🙂

    I know it’s been a while since you posted but I would like to help. Are you still trying to accomplish this?
