You really would need to restore the whole database as I’m guessing that CF7 saves the forms as serialised arrays.
I’m a little confused. How exactly did you lose your old forms? Did you delete the plugin via the Plugins menu? That would explain it as the best-behaved plugins will delete all of their data from their database just before they are removed.
First I had deactivated the 3.6 Version in the Backend because I had this PHP Memory Limit error (which was not comes from this super Plugin!)
– Than I renamed the 3.6 Folder in contact-form-7_not-working
– Than I installed a older Version 3.5.4
– Than after the Memory Linit Probem was solved I made an update to the 3.6 Version and than i deleted in the backend the old Version 3.6 with the renamed folder
hmm…..
But where was the data? In the wp-options?
I can copy the deleted lines into tzhe actuall wp-optons, or?
Best guess – you may have overwritten the previously saved forms when you installed version 3.5.4. Sorry but I have no suggestions for you other than restoring your full database backup. π
OK, thank your for your really fast help!
where was the data? In the wp-options?
Yes but I’ve not pinned it down to any specific option name myself. I would be very wary of trying to just restore a single table or record. You could seriously hose your whole site doing that.
