After upgrading to the latest v3.3.1 of The Events Calendar and v3.3 of The Events Calendar Pro plugins inside of the WordPress Dashboard my Events are no longer listed under the Events link on the left-hand sidebar. It just says:

    No events found

But I do know the Events exist, because I can visit them on my website and click “Edit Event” via the Black Admin Bar (WordPress 3.8 version) at the top of the page and it allows me to edit the Event.

Again my issue is with the WordPress Dashboard Events link not showing any of my Events.

Any ideas, or suggestions I can attempt and not lose any Event data?
    Help is much appreciated.
    Thank you!

  • In the first instance can you try deactivating all other plugins and reverting to a default, unmodified theme and see if that helps?

Since you are using Events Calendar PRO, please also ensure you have cleared any Advanced Post Manager filters (controlled via the prominent meta box above the list of events in the admin environment).

    Does that help at all?

    I have the same problem.

Since update to WordPress to 3.8. I’m unable to access events in my WordPress dashboard, although I’m using Events plugin and not The Events Calendar.

The plugin link/button is still there in the menu, but it’s only showing “manage categories” option. And the events managed by this plugin are still shown on the website, but I’m unable to work with them in any way.

But this is not a plugin only issue, as I’ve tested other popular event plugins and the issue is the same on all of them! Deactivating other plugins does not help either.

Any further advice would be appreciated.

Thanks, esmi. Nathan how are you getting on here?

Thank you for your quick response and I do apologize for my slow response.

I will attempt to deactivate the plugins and see if it’s a plugin conflict issue. The client we are currently working with is a very controlled environment, so I haven’t be given the chance to attempt this yet. I will keep you posted.

    Sure thing.

I have disabled every plugin and defaulted to the pre-packaged WordPress theme.

I found that the issue lies with another plugin we had installed but is also by Modern Tribe: “Advanced Post Manager“. When I disable this plugin everything shows back up in the dashboard.

Any further suggestions/insight on future compatibility?

Ah I see. That is in fact a known problem. I think you’ll find it is only a problem with the PRO plugin, however, and that APM and The Events Calendar – without PRO – work without issue.

At this time, regrettably, using APM with PRO is not something we can support. Nor can we deliver PRO support – since it is a commercial plugin – here on the wordpress.org forums, as per the guidelines Esmi linked to … so if you have any follow up questions on that front (bearing in mind htere isn’t too much we can offer to help at this moment) I’d request you post them on the PRO forum.
