I have a similar problem. The widget works beautifully in IE and Firefox but only shows the title in Chrome. I’ve gone through everything in these forums, but I don’t see any help, even where the issues has been resolved for others. The widget it placed on the sidebar of all pages except the homepage. I’ve been searching WP and Chrome forums for hours. Any help is appreciated as most of our visitors use Chrome.
Any luck? I only see a blank area unless I’m logged into Facebook. Jeff, looks like you got it working in Safari. ?
No luck, but I have not focused on it for a few days. I was hoping someone might have a solution in these forums. I have tried this on several computers, without being logged into Facebook. The only place the widget does not show up for me is in Chrome. Just tried Chrome while logged into Facebook and it still did not show up – only the title. If anyone has an idea of where to start, I appreciate it. I am just starting to learn a bit of coding, but I don’t know enough to feel safe changing this. Unfortunately, most of the visitors to our site use Chrome!

What did you do to get it to work in other browsers (when not logged into FB)?
I’m volunteering my time doing this for a non-profit, wish I could get a solution. I don’t mind messing with the CSS etc (have experience with that) just not sure what to do.
Interesting and nice nonprofit you are working for. I just followed the installation instructions. I was amazed–it worked like a charm, and I really like the look of the widget, with faces of some of our fans. My previous FB Like widget became obsolete/unsupported, so I picked this one because of its ratings. Just can’t get it to work in Chrome. I just sent an email to the designer. Perhaps he will respond. If not, I’ll have to come up with plans B,C…
I have it installed and it works perfectly when I’m logged into FB. But if I’m not, I get a blank space. I think I have the “ID” thing figured out but maybe not? Is there an easy “how to” for getting an App ID etc? I went to the developers site and created an App but who knows if I did it correctly.
I am pretty sure I used this to find my ID and it worked. You have to copy the whole url you have when you are on FB and it extracts the ID for you.

Didn’t work though. I tried the URL you gave me and kept getting this error:
Unable to lookup Facebook numeric ID. Please try again, double-checking the URL of your personal Facebook profile page.
I didn’t setup the page, not sure who originally did. You think that FB needs their ID, not the pages ID?

Has anyone got this to work? What a farce.
I’ve entered my page id exactly as it is in the page settings. I’ve entered the exact page url, but still nothing.

Nothing. I sent a note by Facebook and now an email to the developer. I will let you know what I hear.
