Why unable to attach a file to multiple posts or pages?

    I wonder, why WordPress (such a wonderful, user friendly and highly customize-able CMS framework) doesn’t allow its users to attach a media file to more than one post or page Or how can I make it possible in WP? User had to re-upload those files to do so? Can anyone give me an explanation (technical side also) with reason please?

    You can insert or add a media file to as many Posts or Pages as you want. WP uses the attachment info internally to identify the original parent of the uploaded file.
