Blog Homepage Meta Description Not working

    Hi,
    i have some question, i put some description for Blog Homepage Meta Description and i did check default value as ” Use this blog’s tagline as the default homepage description.”. the problem is, everytime i try to search my website on google, the description not as what i put as my Blog Homepage Meta Description. please advice.

    They are working fine, i was searching for the same “problem” and found this: https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/414

    “…Google won’t always show your meta description in the search results because the ‘excerpt’ depends on the query you type…”

    This is the reason why if you search for your domain name only the description may include your domain name too.

    Try search “YourContentHere YourDomainHere”

    If you look at source code and your meta description is present on the page. <meta name="description" content="your meta description should be here!"> – then it is as Tenebral stated above.

    Otherwise, if the value is empty, then we can address within the code.
