Text Replace – as well as Linkify Text – now crashes

    I’ve been having trouble with Linkify Text for a few weeks now – whenever I open it and make any change, WordPress crashes. I then have to wait a few minutes, and sign in again.

    Tried installing Text Replace hoping this would be less buggy, and in fact, found that the program does much more than Linkify, and I was excited! But, it’s crashing too :/

    Anything I can do? I have it disabled now, temporarily replaced by a less-flexible alternative.

    BTW, just upgraded to WordPress 3.8, and same problem.

    Message that I get “The connection was reset.
    The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.”

    @lady_enslain: Did you try the latest version of either plugin? I just updated Text Replace to v3.5 yesterday. Linkify Text was just updated to v1.5 two days ago (having not been updated in quite awhile).

    If you have done so, and continue to have the issue, could you elaborate on what you attempted to do and what you were experiencing?
