How can i rename my uploaded Nextgen Gallery image files without going into the database? I’ve seen prior requests for this feature dating back 5 years. I would like to rename the uploaded file from the Nextgen interface. Is this possible in Nextgen? If not, does anyone know of a plugin that can accomplish the rename process in a friendly efficient way?

@grosner55 – We do not have any functionality like that currently within NextGEN Gallery but it would make for a great Feature Request. Please feel free to share your thoughts here: http://www.nextgen-gallery.com/feature-voting/
