Pluign Contact Form 7 Select does not work

    I want to use a selector on in a form.

    This is what I put in the form:
    [select Department “Repair” “Account” “Sales” “IT-Services”]

    This is what I put in the mail:
    Department: [select]

    The selector shows on the website but the mail I recieve contains only
    Department: [select]
    not the selection I made

    What am I doing wrong?
