ulfjohanssonBeen using WP a couple of years now and first of all I must say I'm really grateful for it.
But since upgrading to 2.5.1 I've been experiencing big problems - I'm unable to save anything anymore..
On the outside everything seems normal but when I log in and write a post or page, change a link or something, and then hit the save button - everything stops.. It repeatedly tries to connect to the database but eventually I get the "Can´t open page since lost contact with server..". No flickering button problem btw. Not even the auto-save works.
I can still edit things on the "inside" but nothing the outside.
I've done about 10 fresh (deleting not overwriting files..) installations of 2.5.1 and even tried to downgrade to 2.5. Disabled all plugins (nothing fancy by the way - akismet, stats, comment-timeout and get-recent-comments), tried the default theme but no change whatsoever.
Use Safari, Firefox and Camino and Fetch for ftp.
My host has also looked at i from his end and even moved everything to a new server, but nothing. He said it seemed like he got real high traffic at times (and my site is not that big..).
As you can imagine this is extremely frustrating and I would really appreciate any help or tips..
