making aside float right in sidebar-footer

WP version 3.8 using my variation of twentyfourteen theme.

Is it possible to make the the <aside> boxes float right in sidebar-footer. These are text widgets added in the widgets admin to footer widget area. Default is for them to be left aligned. I would like them all to float over to the right if possible.

and note that since this is my own non public variation of theme I’m quite happy to hardcode php or css styles or whatever it takes. I just haven’t managed to figure the css that would be required (if thats the solution) .
