Show only post title instead of full path when sharing post on Facebook

    When I share a blog post on facebook using any plugin its displaying full list on the title area. For Example:

    Site Title » Blog Archive » Post Title

    I want to display only post title instead of full path like above. For Example:

    Post Title

    Can anyone help on this. Thanks!

    You need to edit your theme or use a SEO plugin to alter the post title settings to show just

    Post Title

    Thanks for you help Ravi. I have looked over my custom theme but not able to locate where I have to modify this. I’m a beginner and not fully familiar with WordPress. Can you say where exactly I have to edit in the theme files to alter the post title when sharing (or) suggest a SEO plugin that helps me alter the post title when sharing.

    Use

    http://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/

    After installing go to

    wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpseo_titles#top#post_types

    and give

    %%title%%

    for Title template.

    You can google for more help tips on how to use this plugin. It is the best.
