• Hi,
Thank you for the quality plug-in. I am coming across a problem.

    When I share my post content through facebook, the description is always the following for each post: You may use these HTML tags and attributes: <a href=”” title=””> <abbr title=””> <acronym title=””> <b> <blockquote cite=””> <cite> <code> <del datetime=””> <em> <i> <q cite=””> <strike> <strong>

The only posts that render correctly are the posts I created before I uploaded the social share plugin.

    Any thoughts?

  • I don’t think the plugin would be able to control the descriptions for facebook. I think FB pulls that text on its own, so maybe you changed something else on your site? If you post a link to your site I can maybe check further.

    Hi there!
I have exactly the same issue as ralph. Is there a way around it?

If I try to share to fb form this section in my website it will not work.

If I tray sharing to from this other one, it will.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks so much!

Unfortunately that’s not something we can control because the API we use to specify certain information is broken and FB is not fixing it. Your only option is to use some Open Graph tags for your posts that match the URL used to share. There are plugins on the WP registry that I think set Open Graph meta tags for you.
