    Hi,

We will consider your request to update Fancybox version and if we find it efficient, we will make the necessary changes.
Could you please explain wtat is wrong about the current version of Fancybox? Do any errors occur?

    Sincerely,
    BestWebSoft Support Team

No, other than the problem reported here http://support.bestwebsoft.com/entries/37505923-Fancy-box-too-tall-download-link-not-visible- (which may or may not be a bug in the fancybox code) there are no errors.

The old version your plugin uses is just not maintained anymore which is a liability to your plugin (no more bug fixes, no new features, potential future browser incompatibilities, etc.).

    Hi,

We would like to use the new version, bit it is incompatible with GPL ( fancybox 2 has Creative Commons license ). We havw aldeady had a dispute with the administration of wordpress.org on this issue, that’s why it is impossible to implement the new version of Fancybox to the Gallery plugin. We use it in the Pro version of our plugin.

    Sincerely,

There are other lightboxes besides Fancybox.

    Dear kchayka,

You are quite in the point. Currently we are looking for an alternative solution for Fancybox. As soon as we commit ourselves to use a certain script to display images in lightbox, test it and if it causes no errors, we will implement it.

    Sincerely,
    BestWebSoft Support Team
