   I installed Wordpress using version: 2.5.1 on my server through my hosting company Aplus.net. I then uploaded a theme and customized it.

   All looked ok but when I log into wordpress.com in a new browser session it didn't recognize my username.

   On my profile page it also said I needed an API key in the area when the API key is normally shown.

   I then signed up for a new account using that same username (brooklynart) and it allowed me to create it, so I knew I had a problem. When I logged in it was a new account with none of my files there.

   I then copied the API key in that account, then logged back into the wordpress admin area I did the install with and it doesn't recognize it.

   I then created a new author, then tried to log in using that info and it didn't recognize it.

   Any feedback really appreciated. I spent so many days getting the blog designed and ready so I panicked that I won't be able to use it.

   Huh? Why are you trying to log in to wordpress.com? You would log in at:
   http://blog.brooklynartproject.com/wp-login.php

   You can reset your user/pass if necessary by following instructions here:
   http://www.tamba2.org.uk/wordpress/phpmyadmin/
