Feature request: options to restrict counting

    Hi,

    I have user generated content and users have to be logged in to see all the content. Therefor I log views from logged in users too. However, users (authors) can increase the views from their own posts so they seem more popular.

    Would it be possible to add options to restict counting? I would like to restrict counting by author and/or ip address. To add an option to restrict counting if ( is_author() ) seems straightforward. Maybe there are also other useful options?
