Memcached Backend Error

    First of all great plugin and thanks for the hard work keeping it updated.

    Next, I keep getting this error:
    WP-FFPC found errors, please correct them!
    Memcached cache backend activated but no PHP memcached extension was found. Please either use different backend or activate the module!

    Does it make a difference Memcache vs Memcached? I think I want Memcached, however, every time I reinstall I keep getting the above error.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Please read the requirements or the previous questions asked here in the forum before asking the very same question at least three others did before you.

    PHP memcached extension is not installed on your server, install it.
