I almost didn’t recognize my theme… it’s great to see people do something completely different with them.
Regarding what you are asking, you would definitely have to do custom coding. The hardest one would be adding a second vertical column…which would really be quite difficult for this particular theme. It would have to be a new page template, but if it’s for the blog part, that would require a lot more coding.

Aww, too bad I can’t add a right column. Is there any way to enable both left AND right sidebars?
How do I go about doing the custom coding for the top bar? I know I’ll have to write my own css, but I have no idea about the php part. 🙁
Unfortunately no..as for your last question, it’s really quite involved so unless you know PHP and familiar with WordPress code as well, you would need to find someone who could do that. Due to my heavy time schedule, I would not be able to.
