Announcement of Event as a post

    I would like to make an announcement of an event, not necessarily every event, as a post. Ideally, I would be able to take advantage of tags to do so.

    I would like to take advantage of the social network announcement features already built in with Jetpack as well as using the featured post functionality of sliders, etc.

    Is there a way to announce the event as a post?

    I have been looking for basically the same thing and have had no luck. Hopefully someone will be able to show a way

    I’m sure this is possible – but it’s not something that is baked in to the plugin so at this time would have to be handled via some custom development work if you need an automated solution for this.
