   Hi,

   I would like to be able to offer my readers the choice of viewing posts within categories in alphabetical AND chronological order.

   Obviously not on the same page!

   I know how to create each listing but not at the same time.

   Ideally I would like a link at the top of each category listing that will change the type of display.

   Does anybody have any ideas or suggestions?

   You can use custom query string (http://www.transycan.net/blogtest/2007/10/30/custom-query-string-plugin-update-for-wordpress-23/) for the chronological one, but I'm not sure about the alpahebtical one, best do a search. And I'm not sure if you could have both together unless you place the posts in 2 categories, one in chronological order with CQS and the other alphabetical.

   Thanks for the reply.

   I currently use the CQS and I didn't consider having two categories. It's a great idea, although adding 700 posts to another 4 or so categories may prove time-consuming.

   I'll look into how best to do that.

   Heya!

   I think there should be a plugin for mass adding posts to a category. Search around and I'm sure you'll find it. ^^
