you can change your link colors by changing your CSS
maybe you can try
a {color:#123456 !important}
a.hover {color:#654321 !important}
a.visited {color:#abcdef !important}
a.active {color:#fedcba !important}
!important will override other settings
Thanks for that info but I wouldn’t know where to begin. I guess I should have made it more clear. I don’t know where to go in WP in order to change the the CSS. Also above what do the numbers represent? (123456)?

Install this Custom CSS Manager plugin http://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-css-manager-plugin
Then use its “CSS Code” section of the dashboard to hold your CSS modifications.
