My Page Builder is not saving any data. I thought after removing all other plugins, deleting the database, and restoring everything would fix the problem but it didn’t…. I just created another 2 days of work by doing this…. Any thoughts what the heck is going on here?
Dear Greg Priday,
Your support has been great in the past. I would be very happy if you can comment on this issue. How is it possible that PB deleted the content of a text-widget without user interaction?
Does PB save any version history for it’s widgets, and do you think the information that was once inside the widget can be found anywhere?
Thx in advance!
Same here WP 3.8 and PageBuilder 1.4.1
I tried disabling other pluggins to no avail…
Hi there Marcoevich
Page Builder integrates with the WordPress revisions system. So you should be able to restore your older content if you have this enabled.
What version of Page Builder were you using when your content went missing?
Hi Greg,
Thx for your reply!
The problems have begon since upgrading to wordpress 3.8. My version of pagebuilder is 1.3.10.
I see now that you have issued an update for Pagebuilder. I see you have fixed “Issue that was removing content for widgets with a lot of data.”
Is this fix related to the issue I’m having?
1.4.2 has a pretty important fix that checks that the Page Builder interface was fully loaded before loading before saving data. I’m not sure, but this is probably the issue you were having.
If you hit save/publish before the Page Builder interface fully loaded, your content would be lost. Either a slow internet connection or a Javascript error could cause this problem.
Hopefully this issue wont come up again.
Thx Greg, this sounds hopeful 🙂 I haven’t touched pb widgets anymore since this issue occurred. I will try again tomorrow, I’ll check if it is deffinitely solved now 🙂
Also thx for the autosave fix, that was an annoying one 🙂
Gratz,
Marco
