Another missing feature of wordpress that is a no brainer

    Linking to old topics like that really isn’t useful.

    What about just showing the Featured Image ONLY on the archives page?

    You do know that that no brainer is a function of the theme and can be implemented with a conditional that says “If archives page show featured image else don’t”?

    Everything has to be a huge obstacle with wordpress it seems.

    You get out of it what you put in. 😉

    In it’s basic form WordPress works for millions of installations. In your case you want something that can be done in a theme.

    I don’t know how to code that and I think it should be built in.

    You can always learn PHP and CSS. Or even consider paying someone to do it for you.

    Yes you didn’t write that last quote I’m just trying to be proactive. 🙂
