    Hi awesome team,

I’m using Arras Theme on my new website under construction. This theme is compatible with custom post type. But when I display recurring events on my home page, they are bad ordered. However the publish date corresponds to start date of event

It displays first all events of one recurring event then it displays all others events of second recurring event and so on …

    Here the link : http://www.festivals-and-co.fr/

    Any idea ?

  • Hi,

If you change to the default WordPress theme, are the events ordered correctly?

    I have understood why.

The event custom post types have the publish date and not the event start date. All recurring events have the same publish date. That’s why they are grouped together on my homepage.

Now I have to know how to automatically replace publish date by start date in the wp_posts table. I have tried manually and it works as you can see : http://www.festivals-and-co.fr

Are you using any custom templates? Does it work correctly with the default theme?

It sounds as though there’s a custom query somewhere that’s not running correctly.

    I have abandoned this solution
