    I tried creating a child theme but this theme went BOOM! so that’s not really an option…

    Try installing a custom CSS plugin and use this to hide the search form.

    .seach_section {
        display: none;
    }

    Yes the word is misspelled. I have no idea why. 😉

    I just tried it using the Simple Custom CSS plugin and it worked for me.

    It works!

    Thanks!

    Now just get rid of the rss icon…

    Hi Jan,

    I noticed that, when I remove the search field and the rss field, the theme does not work good on a smartphone: the menu always disappeares..

    Is this also the case with your site?

    Best reegards,
    Leen
