    Hi,
after updating to version 2.5.6, I get a fatal error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '}' in D:\xampp\htdocs\my_path\wp-content\plugins\wp-cloudy\wpcloudy-widget.php on line 71
Reverted back to version 2.5 for now; please look into this. It even stops the admin page from loading. Let me know if you need any information!

    Hi,

it’s weird, I have no error locally or online.

What version of PHP do you use? Which browser ?

Can you try to delete the plugin (your weather will not be deleted), and reinstall it from the wordpress repository?

    Thanks

    Hi rainbowgeek,

the PHP version is 5.4.19, and I’m using IE11. I’ll try a reinstall and let you know what happened. I’m running the de_DE locale, however I doubt that would make a difference.

    Thanks,

I am also receiving the same error message-

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘}’ in /var/www/vhtdocs/userweb63063/html/spl/wp-content/plugins/wp-cloudy/wpcloudy-widget.php on line 71

Running PHP v5.3.23 and viewing on a Mac, using Chrome Version 31.0.1650.63

I’m getting a fatal error message as well while trying to activate the plugin for the first time. Using wordpress 3.8 php 5.4.22

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

We upgraded to 2.6.1 then used your pastebin file and the plugin is now working. Good job thanks!

We look forward to helping you beta-test and suggest new features as you continue to develop out what looks like the beginnings of a very promising plugin!
