    Hello everyone,

i am using meta slider and the theme Classipress which are both compatible with the translation plugin WPML. But i cannot translate the slide URL because it is not available in the string translation of wpml. I wrote to wpml and they told me that the ability to translate slide URL was not added in the compatibility. Now, how to translate it? Is there another option to do it?

    Thanks in advance

  • Hi covoiturage,

Meta Slider has been developed so you can create a new slideshow for each language. You’ll need to set up a new slideshow for your alternative language, then paste the shortcode into the translated version of the page.

    Hi Matcha,

thanks so much for replying. I have done it now but how to insert the code into a widget?

    Thanks again

Good question… some googling pointed me here:

    Hi Matcha,

thanks so much for the info, it works now by using the plugin Widget Logic. I have two questions concerning the pro version of meta slider: is it possible with the free or pro version to enter a code from a partner like a Google Adsense code instead of uploading an image? Secondly, is it possible to get a slider with for instance 6 images like in the following link: http://classipress.wpmorphed.com/

    Thanks again

    Hi covoiturage,

Apologies for the delay in getting back to you. I only ‘sweep’ the free support forums once Pro support is dealt with.

There’s a slide type in Meta Slider Pro called ‘Layer Slide’. With a layer slide you can place HTML directly onto the slide – but you still need to choose a background image for the slide from your Media Library.

The ‘6 images’ slideshow is a carousel. This is possible using Meta Slider Lite, please see this page for instructions: http://www.metaslider.com/examples/carousel/

If you have any more questions regarding Meta Slider Pro, please get in touch here; http://www.metaslider.com/support/

    Regards,
    Tom
