I stupidly uninstalled wordpress from my godaddy server during an upgrade. I admit this problem is my fault. I put it back in but all my posts were gone. The files seem to be there. I called godaddy and paid them $150 to restore my database back to a time when I knew everything was there, several days earlier. They say they did that but still no posts, not one. To further my problem, I never copied the text in my posts and lost several important pieces of writing in this accident. I know these problems are caused by me but I am looking for a solution. Is there anyway that godaddy can be expected to get me the posts back? They say what is there, is what was there on the date in question, but I know for a fact that is not true.
Desperate in New York.

No. And whats there, is there, Its pretty hard for a host to "fake" a database backup.
For anyone else that reads this, this underscores the necessaity of regular backups.

if your site has been around for a while, you (and you dont block their spider like me) may have made it into the wayback machine. Google that too.
WHOOAMI,
