    Hi,
which error do you get? You can also delete the files directly with ftp if wordpress can’t remove them. Go to wp-content/plugins and delete the “wp-backgrounds-lite” folder.

I’m getting the Error 500 Failed. But I’ll try deleting it via the FTP. Thanks.

Strange, 500 is a very generic error though and doesn’t really tell us what causes the issue. Probably the ftp method is the best solution in this case.

Your plug in is killing my site – I installed it and it doesn’t do what the description claims, then I deactivated and tried to delete it, but it won’t delete from the dashboard. I have no idea how to FTP remove it.

I’ve had no other plugin that wouldn’t delete. Now, WP Background Lite is causing all sorts of connection errors. That’s not right.

I’m sorry that the plugin doesn’t work properly on your server. We just tried to delete the plugin from our test server and didn’t notice any issues (even in debug mode). You can use filezilla: https://filezilla-project.org/ or any other popular ftp client to delete the plugin files via ftp. The ftp login credentials are provided be the server administrator or your host provider.
