I’m having 2 problems with ngg, v 0.95 running on WP 2.5.
1. I can’t get the slideshow to work in Firefox either through the widget or in a page. It keeps spinning on a black screen. Works fine in IE7 and Opera.
Slideshow widget: http://www.cbmused.com/
Slideshow in a page: http://www.cbmused.com/nggallery/page-70/slideshow/
2. The [Show Picture list] view is not always in alignment as seen here. Any suggestions on how to fix it? Example here.
I have re-uploaded all the ngg plugin files manually but still no joy.
Thanks for your assistance.
Thanks for taking a look Alex.
My photo file permissions are set at 0644, directories at 0755. Other photos from the same gallery are accessible such as here and here.
I'm a newbie at this, so I'd appreciate any suggestions. Just to reiterate, it works in IE7 but not in Firefox. Thanks again.
I also experience a similar problem, the "standard" show picture widget works well but the slideshow widget only renders a black rectangle.

i have the same issue. what i also noticed is that if in manage gallery you try to view the photo, it doesnt work.
1. I've managed to fix the slideshow not working in Firefox. I had Hotlink protection enabled through my web host but I didn't have 'Allow direct requests (ie. entering the url to an image in your browser)'. Once I ticked that box, the slideshow worked in FF, both in the sidebar widget and on individual pages. You can see an example here. I hope that helps.
2. The [Show Picture list] view is not always in alignment problem is still unresolved.

i kind of figured it myself. went to cpanel did all that but still not working in FF
cezarneaga, glad you've figured it out :). I'm also a newbie at this. I cleared the browser cache afterwards, you might like to try it (if you haven't) and see if that works.
I am having the same problem with the slideshow showing up as black.

Can anyone share their solution?
@Wazz
There are some javascript conflicts, disable other plugin for a test
alex,
I tried disabling all the plugins, and the slideshow still came up black. i think it has to do with some other javascript? i deleted some of it and the page said "flash player required and browser with java capabilities needed" but i have have both of those things enabled. so it musy be something else.
thanks
