I just installed a WordPress and tried to add a new theme to my blog. Within the wp-content/themes directory I deleted the default and classic directories and included a new theme directory that I had downloaded. I don't see the theme within the Wordpress admin to select it as the default theme. Can someone lend a hand? I am sure this is a simple fix.

I believed that you just messed it up, upload the default theme back to /wp-content/themes and try again. (don't delete the theme you are using)

Posted 6 days ago #Total newbie, so forgiveness please. I have a theme I want to upload that is a cool jet black. I figured out that it's supposed to go into the file wp-contents/themes
How do I navigate to find that file (or any other file for that matter)?
