  • So you’ve tried uploading a logo in the Customize menu? Maybe you should try doing that and waiting for it to appear. WordPress doesn’t really give you much feedback on how the upload is going.

Works fine for me on 3.8. What’s the logo file you are trying to use?

I’ve noticed similar issues, as well; like when using the “Customizer” to add a background image. There are times where there ‘is’ a delay, and other times where the changes won’t even show up at all (in the preview window). I’ve experienced this both with adding a background image, and adding custom css properties. By accident, I happened to ‘tap’ (cursor) in the preview window (while I was working in the Customizer), and upon tapping in that window, the changes would appear. Since then, every time I’d edit something (via the Customizer), I just tap the cursor in the other window, to see the changes.

I’m just gonna go out on a limb and ask … could this be a browser issue? I use a pc, and use Firefox for browsing the internet with.

I’ve noticed this delay too before. The issue is with WordPress though, not Decode. I have only very limited control of the Customizer (which is why it is awesome!). I haven’t tried the Customizer in Firefox.

    it could be a php version problem? I’m on archlinux with Apache/2.2.25 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.25 OpenSSL/1.0.1e DAV/2 PHP/5.5.7 or firefox version 25 ?

I think this should be a Core trac discussion. I’ll mark this as resolved here and if you all are interested, ping me with a Core trac ticket URL.
