Separate WordPress.com account for each site?

    I set up WordPress sites for clients, and I like to use JetPack. Do I need to create a WordPress.com account for each site I set up, or can they all go under my WordPress.com login/account? Many clients get frustrate when I throw too many logins and passwords at them!

    No problem – You can connect multiple sites to a single WordPress.com user account (I’ve got several).

    One thing to consider though: Should your clients change support (hopefully they won’t), then you may want to disconnect the API from your account.

    Maybe just create the new wordpress.com accounts and retain the login information yourself unless your clients want it / until they need it – that’s what we do.

    You can connect multiple sites to a single WordPress.com account, but like @mikeotgaar I would suggest that you create an account for each one of your clients; if Jetpack is associated to your account, your client won’t be able to use features like Toolbar notifications, or won’t receive the Monitor emails if their site goes down for example.
