   not used private links before but i can see they have a use not not if one can't read them when lgged in or am i confused by the private blog post facility which one can?

   Let me explain. If I save a page as private I can view it if I am logged in. If I save a link as private I can't see it at all except if I administer it. Does anyone else have this problem?

   Yes- I have the same problem running 2.5 but with the security fixes from 2.5.1 .

   Perhaps part of the problem depends on which theme is being used? I'm using Fluid Blue; however, I use the Design: Widgets feature to display the sidebar. My sidebar shows private posts only when I'm logged in but not private links (at all).
