    hi

    Thanks for a brilliant plugin!

    I just read the last thread and am experiencing the same problem.
    I have created a child theme and and wonder if you could give the code to change the background colour of the mailchimp form?

    it may be the customizr parent-theme im using is not allowing it to show.

    Thanks again!!
    merry christmas!

    Hi Simon,

    Thanks – glad you like it!

    Your title may be a little misleading because from the sound of your question, it does not sound like the themes aren’t working. Themes won’t set a background color, just some default styling rules.

    If you want to change the background color of the form, in the lite version you’ll have to write your own CSS for it.

    Something like this should do it.

    .mc4wp-form{ background: green; }

    Hope that helps!

    Hi danny – that works but the coloured area doesnt wrap around the NEWSLETTER title so it looks abit weird. is there a way to have the coloured area around the whole thing?

    Hi Simon,

    Sure, but it’s depending on your theme and its CSS classes so not much I can say or do about that.

    If you have a link to your website, me or somebody else might be able to help you out with finding the correct CSS.

    Thanks, have a nice Christmas!
