• Page Caching is not working for me. When I have this option enabled everytime I open uncached page my browser shows me the message: “Error 503 Service Unavailable“. When I hit F5 after that message, page loads fine. This 503 Error comes from Varnish but with Varnish disabled I have excatly the same problem (insted of 503 error message I get a blank page).

BTW. I don’t know why but when I enable Page Cache debug mode everything works fine.

  • You´re kind of lucky – I have a newly installed wordpress och W3 Total and try to make the settings.
I try to Enable the Page cache: in the General settings tab and I push Save all settings – but it wont save the configuration….

No other plugs installed – newly installed wordpress with a new theme.

If the support has some solution it would be nice to hear –
    or I have to change.

    Best Regards!

…. I go to Permalink Settings and try to Save a new settings there –
but it looks that I can´t save – since the install of W3 Total…

    I can´t use it.

    Conclusion

That’s it, W3 Total Cache is now gone.

Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that W3 Total Cache is necessarily a bad plugin. I have used it before (I even recommended it a while back). However, I ran into an issue with it now, and needed to remove it. Maybe i try it it in the future. So think of this as a how-to, not an indictment of W3 Total Cache.
