Quick check – do you have Pretty Permalinks on? That is, within WordPress should you be able to go to (example):
www.myblog.com/2007/10/04/this_blog_post/
If so, check to see that you don’t have a similarly-named directory existing in “real” terms. I’ve found that this can cause problems with WordPress’s “virtual” system, though I normally get 403 Permission Forbidden errors.

I think I had something similar to pretty permalinks but right now I have this kind of links: http://myblog.com/blog/?page_id=7 .
No conflicts between virtual and real links.
Try re-publishing the page in question, if you haven’t already. Maybe make a small change to it (add a character, delete it again) before republishing.
Also, if you’ve changed permalink type, it can sometimes mess with the links themselves. When you hover your mouse pointer over the shortcut to the page, what appears in the status bar at the bottom of your browser (i.e. where does the browser think it’s going to go)? Perhaps the old link is somehow hard-coded into your theme, and by changing the permalink structure you’ve broken it?
