yes, I have the same problem. How can I disable the full post view and enable the excerpt in the blog page ?
This issue exists for me as well. Seems the theme does not use the setting from the Settings > Reading > For each article in a feed, show “Summary”
Is it possible this will be fixed soon? Didn’t want to change the theme files myself to fix this.
Flounder doesn’t currently support post excerpts, but we’re considering it for a future release.

And then set up a widget on pages (for home page) to display in the main body of the home page using the plugin:
