  • I can confirm the problem, it’s just displaing the text:
    [recaptcha recaptcha-113]
I don’t have a solution, someone else can help?

@asashi: If you require assistance then, as per the Forum Welcome, please post your own topic.

It seems to be a problem with either CF7 or the BWP reCAPTCHA integration plugin and not the actual BWP reCAPTCHA plugin itself.

That can be right, but still it’s a problem. And it is not resolved. Even the new 1.1.0 does not work for me with the latest Contact form 7.

This did the trick for me:see last reply from ikookmaar

The new version is working just fine with Contact Form 7.

You must remove the extension plugin (it is way obsolete) and follow this small guide to add the right shortcode.

Please, at least take a look around before stating something doesn’t work. Thank you.

No it does not work at least not like it should be! And I did take a look around and found a solution and have posted that here.

Still your update does not work when you just update it. The thing why I posted this is so we all can benefit from our experience.

Your suggestions may help, but it will take a lot of time! And no it was that clear to me and neither for a lot of other people! You should at least make it more clear to us that we all have to change the capthca code inside our forms! But I will have a look at the guide!

Actually I have stated rather clear in the changelog, I even linked to the guide so users can update properly. The guide itself is easy to follow, would take less than 1 min to implement (and we are wasting like 5 mins discussing this, I must say).

Anyway, the solution you found is only a workaround for an extension I don’t officially support, and it should be discouraged. I merely want to point users to the right direction.

    Enjoy the plugin πŸ™‚

Just some advise I hope you don’t be offended, but when a user of your product does not agree with you, don’t defend yourself, but listen. You may think it was clear, but I tell you for me it was not! It’s all in the eyes of the beholder. Your plugin is great by the way, no arguments there.

I run many wordpress websites and it will take some time to change all the forms my customers use! So for me it seems the sollution others found will work better! For new websites I will follow the right code. So thanks for your reply.

Perhaps you can work some thing out to avoid the renaming thing for old users?

First of all I don’t defend anything, nor I find it’s necessary to. User is king but user should be reasonable as well.

You posted three (or maybe more I don’t know) messages in the support forum stating that version 1.1.0 doesn’t work but it actually does, and other users might be confused that the solution you use is the correct way to fix the issue, which is not. Normally I don’t jump into discussion like this, but seriously people should take time checking things out before conclude something. You should see this review: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/ads-injected-into-the-code?replies=6 , just FYI.

As I said earlier, that extension is by no mean related to me so I can’t provide support for it. But I will add support for [recaptcha] also, I do listen. Though I highly recommend that you remove that extension because it is outdated.

I just posted the solution I found to help others with the same problem and yes in three messages. This because I wasn’t the only one who had the same issues! And for me it is still an issue, since I have to change many forms! Why not make it so that the old code will work? Backwards compatible would be a good thing to keep in mind!

Your response is not nice. I think you present me as stupid and not being seriously! And that goes for the rest of us who have pointed out to have the same problem. That’s not a nice thing to do! As I said I just was trying to help! And no it’s not that clear!

The solution has been found not by me,but someone else I only put in the link to that part of the forum.

Let’s leave it with this! I’m offended by your replies!

New website! So I decided to give your plugin another go! But no your shortcutes don’t work!

    <p>Your Name (required)
    [text* your-name] </p>

    <p>Your Email (required)
    [email* your-email] </p>

    <p>Subject
    [text your-subject] </p>

    <p>Your Message
    [textarea your-message] </p>

    [bwp-recaptcha bwp-recaptcha-35]

    <p>[submit “Send”]</p>

Hi, so you don’t see the captcha added to the form or submission doesn’t work? May I have a link to the site?

I used the old solution. That works! Perhaps I use a plugin that interferes with yours. The next website I will try again and send you the link if I can’t get it to work!

There’s actually a bug with older version of CF7, but I’m assuming that you’re already using the latest version of CF7.

You can send the link to me anytime, thank you.
